You are never too young to donate

Published: August 27, 2015 by Johnson County Community Foundation

Kalyn Bryant loves her community. She overheard her mom talking about an effort to raise money for the Johnson County Community Foundation.

Kalyn began to ask questions and made the decision that she wanted to help too. Kalyn launched a GoFundMe campaign and presented the Foundation Board of Directors with a check for $70 at their May board meeting.

Best part?
Kalyn is only 10 years old.

All proceeds raised from Kalyn’s campaign went to the Community Impact Fund at the JCCF and were matched through a Lilly Endowment matching opportunity.

Even at a young age, Kalyn understood the great benefits, to the Foundation and her community, of seizing the opportunity to donate for this historic match initiative.

You too can take the challenge! No gift is too small or too big. Make your own donation to JCCF here or donate to Kalyn’s gofundme project.

A special thanks to our Platinum Community Partners!
