Stories of Connection: In Jesus Name We Play Fund

Published: September 8, 2016 by Johnson County Community Foundation

In Jesus Name We Play is a faith-based sports camp ministry designed to empower teens through service and inspire children through play.

Founded in 2014 by two Johnson County teens, Samuel Bolin and Trent Line. Both play football for Center Grove High School, are actively involved in community service and are part of the student leadership team in their local church.

“JCCF provides a simple way for others to support our mission, provides accountability for the use of funds and helps us stay focused on serving,” said Bolin.

Since its launch, the organization has been strengthened by 75 teen volunteers who have helped to implement over 20 camp days and serve 350 local campers.

“We are honored to be associated with people who care about things that really matter – and make things happen! The Foundation helps remind us that we are part of a larger community of leaders who are focused on solving problems, being a blessing to others, and impacting our community and our world for the better,” said Line.
