When work is play

CAYMAN'S VOLUNTEER ADVENTURE BLOG – Day 4

This was probably one of the most fun volunteering things I have been able to do because, it consisted of more playing than working. I worked for Sonya Ware-Meguiar at Girls Inc. of Johnson County here in Franklin. I helped with registration at their golf outing. After we were finished with registration, there were two spots that needed to be filled on one of the teams. So Sonya and I were able to enjoy playing 18 holes of golf for a good cause.

Sonya taught me about how the girls that participate at Girls Inc. learn and stay active. Sonya has her hands full with over 140 girls for their summer camp, and she is always in need of a volunteer or two. Learn more about Girls Inc. of Johnson County and how you can volunteer or support the program here.
