JCCF partners with Endress+Hauser to launch STEM scholarship programs

The Johnson County Community Foundation has partnered with Endress-Hauser to create two scholarship funds to benefit the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) related fields. The need for these scholarships is a result of the market demand for skilled workers in the STEM technical fields. Currently, the need for such workers far outpaces graduation rates and workers entering the U.S. manufacturing workforce.
Endress+Hauser has launched a series of initiatives that support students in STEM studies and STEM-related careers to help inspire young engineers and fill the skills gap. The Endress+Hauser Launching Scholars program and Endress+Hauser Sustaining Scholars program are just two of those initiatives. In 2015, these programs will benefit students local to Endress+Hauser’s USA Headquarters. Longer term goals are to expand these programs to benefit a greater number of students across the U.S.
Endress+Hauser Launching Scholars program
This is a scholarship targeted to assist high school seniors intending to pursue the STEM-related degrees that companies connected to Process Manufacturing. To learn more about the criteria, requirements and how to apply, click here.
Endress+Hauser Sustaining Scholars program
