Providing connections for peer learning and best practices for nonprofits

connecting people with causes:
helping groups raise funds

Our seminar "Making the Ask - Secrets to Successful Fundraising" brought together experts from area non-profit programs to talk about how to generate sustained viability of your organization.

They discussed how to approach potential donors and how to help them understand the benefits of donating to your cause.

Making informed decisions assure that your contribution – financial or otherwise – meets your expectations and truly helps the community for years to come.

Whether you are a donor, a leader in a nonprofit organization or a business owner, you can learn about philanthropy through our ongoing training, our resource network and various materials in our office.

Many of our funds are set up by families, small groups of people or businesses wanting to make a difference in the community.

We collaborate with other leaders in our community, including Leadership Johnson County, Franklin College and the local chambers of commerce to offer nonprofit and business opportunities.

The topics and formats may change each year but are always relevant to community, nonprofit and business development.

Lunch & Learn

Our Lunch & Learn series is designed to strengthen nonprofit organizations by connecting nonprofit professionals and volunteers with their peers working in similar positions at other organizations. These peer learning and networking luncheons will offer support and idea sharing in an informal setting.

Nonprofit Symposium

In partnership with Leadership Johnson County, we host an annual Nonprofit Symposium. Industry experts present on current issues and trends affecting the nonprofit sector that aim to benefit the growth and prosperity of your organization.
