Michael Chadbourne and Jason Moran tragically passed away in June 2014, from injuries sustained while attempting to save a friend from drowning. This tragedy, involving five Franklin teenagers, brought an incredible outpouring of love and support from the community under the motto Franklin Strong. In order to remember Michael and Jason and continually renew the love shown by the community, we will award two scholarships annually to two Franklin Community High School seniors that best embody the characteristics that made Michael and Jason special young men in the eyes of so many.
