JCCF Offers Free Training Series for Nonprofit Organizations (Finance)

Published: September 10, 2025 by Johnson County Community Foundation

The Johnson County Community Foundation (JCCF) is offering another Elevate Impact session for nonprofit organizations. These FREE capacity-building workshops aim to strengthen organizations and empower leaders throughout 2025. This Elevate Impact session is Using Taxes for Good: The Surprising Benefits of Tax Efficient Charitable Giving, taking place on September 17, 2025, from 8:30 - 11:00 a.m. at the Compass Park Event Center (690 S State Street, Franklin, IN 46131).

While donors may not give solely for tax benefits, research shows that when they receive advantageous tax treatment from their gifts, they often give more. This interactive session will explore the most effective giving strategies, real-world examples, and ways to identify opportunities for deeper conversations with professional advisors. The program will also address how the recent tax bill continues to reshape the philanthropic landscape.

The session will be facilitated by Jonathan Raymon, J.D., CTFA, CAP, Senior Vice President and Manager of Charitable Solutions for Baird Trust. With more than a decade of experience in the investment industry, Jonathan specializes in charitable trusts and organizations, and holds both the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designations. He is actively involved in the philanthropic community, serving as President of the Estate Planning Council of Metro Louisville and contributing his expertise to numerous nonprofit boards.
