Published: October 1, 2025 by Johnson County Community Foundation

The Johnson County Community Foundation (JCCF) has received a $100,000 grant as part of the eighth phase of Lilly Endowment Inc.’s Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow (GIFT VIII) initiative. This unrestricted grant may be used to support any charitable purpose the Foundation chooses.

The grant was awarded through Lilly Endowment’s Board Engagement Grants program, which encourages active participation by community foundation board members. Eligible community foundations demonstrating 100 percent board member giving were awarded a $100,000 unrestricted grant.

“We are proud to share that 100% of our board members are personally committed to supporting the Foundation, not only through their financial contributions, but also through their time, talent, and testimony,” said Kim Kasting, President & CEO of JCCF. “This grant is a testament to their dedication and to the trust Lilly Endowment Inc. places in our ability to strengthen Johnson County through philanthropy.”

GIFT VIII is one of Lilly Endowment’s signature initiatives to help community foundations across Indiana grow stronger and more sustainable. By providing flexible funding, these grants enable local foundations to address pressing community needs, seize opportunities, and amplify their impact.
