We make all kinds of contributions in our everyday lives. There are gifts, though, that make an impact beyond our lifetime. A Legacy Society commitment assures the donor that their contributions will make an impact well into the future.

JCCF provides numerous opportunities to make an enduring donation. Legacy Society members can include JCCF in their wills, trusts, and as beneficiaries of insurance or retirement plans. Donors can often realize substantial tax benefits.

Here are some real examples of legacy impact at JCCF:

Lowell B. and Edith G. Griffin and Raymond and Carolyn Shatto –

Fund established in 2000 by Raymond and Carolyn Shatto in loving memory of the donor’s parents, Lowell B. and Edith G. Griffin.

IMPACT: Over $230,000 to support their church, scholarships, public library and JCCF’s grantmaking program.

Elmon and Lucile G. Williams Fund –

Fund established by Lucile Williams in memory of her husband, Elmon, to promote responsible citizenship and the rule of law as a fundamental principle in self-management and the promotion and education of legal and ethical behavior.

Lucile G. Williams Gift Fund –

Established by Lucile Williams in 1994, this designated (administrative endowment) fund shall support the operations and community service programs of JCCF.

IMPACT: Over $318,000 to legal and community service programs

Willard Bridgewater Children’s Fund – 

Established in 2004 through the will of Willard Bridgewater, this field of interest fund provides support to organizations and programs that serve children and their families that do not have the financial ability to meet their educational, physical, social and/or developmental needs.

IMPACT: Over $480,000 to community youth programs
