Meet the Artist
Chelsie Liberati
Muralist, author and children’s book illustrator
While working for three years as a commercial muralist, Chelsie traveled across the country to paint wild space scenes, hungry dinosaurs, and everything in between. Now, Chelsie still finds herself painting a little bit of everything, but chooses to stay closer to home.
She’s proud to live in Johnson County and wants to share just how great it is with everyone in the best way she knows: Art! With an airbrush in one hand and a roller in the other, Chelsie looks forward to working with business owners and residents to bring a little more beauty to our buildings, fences and homes.
Behind the Design:
This mural is inspired by both the bait shop it is to be painted on as well as Edinburgh’s Blue River Dam. Simplistic color and clean lines create a modern design that celebrates this favorite community fishing spot.
