Grant Policies

The Johnson County Community Foundation (JCCF) Grants Program is reviewed and approved regularly by our JCCF Board of Directors. Our formal grant-making process is administered by JCCF staff and a dedicated committee of community volunteers and Board members.

This is a highly-competitive process and those applying may or may not receive funding. Those who do receive funding may not receive 100 percent of their request. The amount requested usually exceeds the amount available to grant.

If you want more information about our JCCF Annual Grants Program, please refer to our Unrestricted Grants Policies.* You will find detailed information about our grants committee, grant guidelines, avoiding conflicts of interest and the decision-making process.

The Annual Grants Program may change from time to time, so we encourage applicants to contact JCCF prior to applying to ensure their proposal qualifies for funding.

*Disclaimer: These guidelines and policies apply only to the unrestricted community funds of the Johnson County Community Foundation and not to those funds for which the donor has designated the beneficiary or has restricted the fund’s use to a specific charitable purpose. Those designated and restricted funds will be administered separately in relation to their respective donor agreements.
