Our Johnson County Community Foundation (JCCF) manages more than 300 funds established by people with philanthropic passions.
Many of our donors contribute to one or more of these existing funds, while others set up their own.
There is no right or wrong way to give. What’s important is giving in a way that helps you accomplish your philanthropic goals and JCCF is here to help. We keep our finger on the pulse of the community, so we can identify the community’s greatest needs and respond in a meaningful way. That might be supporting an existing program, developing a new one or encouraging a community partner to take a leadership role. It means rallying for the cause and asking others to join the effort. That’s why we are dedicated to connecting people who care with causes that matter. Causes that matter to them, their families and our community.
Dancing with the Johnson County Stars
This fund was established to support the Dancing with the Johnson County Stars community project.
Davidson Brothers Scholarship in memory of Maurice & Eugenia Davidson
Established by Mike, Tom and Andy Davidson to honor the memory of their parents.
Daily Family Scholarship Fund
Established to provide support for educational scholarships for students who are accepted into and attend accredited two-or four-year public or private institutions of higher learning.
Donald Clark Memorial Scholarship
Established in memory of Donald E. Clark with the intent to honor deserving athletes on the Roncalli football team.
Daniel Mercer Special Project Fund
Established in memory of Daniel Mercer to benefit the FCHS Student Book writing special projects.
Dolores McGovern-Dunn Fund
Established to provide JCCF operating support.
Dr. James Dixon Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship recognizes a student who resides in the Johnson County area. Special consideration is given to those who can show a turnaround in effort and performance by the junior year.
Daniel C. and Eddie Lea Smajo Fund
Established via bequest to support a wide range of community needs.
Discover Downtown Franklin Fund
Established to provide support for Discover Downtown Franklin.
Daniel P. Mercer Family Fund
Established in memory of Daniel Mercer by Jeff and Pam Mercer to make annual awards for teenagers to participate in Indiana Bulls team and awards to local youth organizations.
Dr. Earl Blemker Memorial Scholarship
Established in the memory of Dr. Earl E. Blemker to honor him and his desire to see the best for all students and teachers in Greenwood.
Directors’ Fund
Established by the JCCF Board of Directors as a means for past, current and future board members to support the unrestricted grantmaking program of the Community Foundation.
David Mitchell Memorial Scholarship
Established to honor the memory of David Mitchell and will recognize a graduating senior from Franklin Community High School.
Dean Abplanalp Fund
To provide support to the Johnson County Community Foundation and the Good Cheer Fund.
Debbie Long Memorial Fund
Established by Wanda Long and family to provide support to the Johnson County Public Library and the Johnson County Animal Shelter.
Dr. Jill Buck Memorial Scholarship
Established in memory of Dr. Jill Buck, a beloved mother and optometrist in the Greenwood community who was known for her great spirit. The scholarship will provide support as directed by the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation for educational scholarships for institutions of higher learning.
David Worrell Scholarship Fund
Established to provide scholarships to students enrolled at the Marc Adams School of Woodworking.
